What to check when buying
Cosmetics need a responsible person in the EU and a CPNP notification. For keratin and straightening products: formaldehyde is banned, formaldehyde releasers must be labelled and glyoxylic acid is currently being assessed by the EU.
If you buy directly in Brazil, you are the importer. When you buy from an importer in the EU, they take on most of the duties.
