Cookies are small text files that a website stores in the browser. The browser’s local storage works in a similar way. Here you can see what we store and why. The complete list with name, purpose, duration and time of creation is at the bottom of this page. How we process data in general is explained in the Privacy policy.
What we do not use
- no advertising or tracking cookies and no third-party cookies without your consent,
- no fingerprinting, meaning no recognition of your device by its characteristics,
- no embedded social media buttons that send data when the page loads,
- no fonts, maps or scripts from third-party servers without your consent.
Necessary storage
Some entries are needed for a function you use explicitly: login, the feedback after submitting a form and saving your cookie choice. These entries are only created when you use the function and do not require consent (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG).
Storage with consent
We only use everything else if you agree (§ 25(1) TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
- External media: we only load third-party content such as videos or the Google Maps map on business profiles after your click or if you allow “External media”. These providers may then set their own cookies; which ones is explained in their privacy notices.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.
Counting without cookies
We count page views on our server without storing anything on your device. For the businesses’ statistics, a small script only reports the numbers of the listings shown to our server, without an identifier and without storing anything on your device. Details are in the Privacy policy.
Deleting entries yourself
You can delete cookies and local storage at any time in your browser settings. After that you are logged out, and if necessary we ask for your cookie choice again.
