About the event

Brazilian organist Felipe Bernardo, organist of the Benedictine monastery in São Paulo, plays a programme on the musical links between Germany and Brazil at the Kulturkirche Altona. Alongside works by Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy he performs pieces by Furio Franceschini, Alberto Nepomuceno and Heitor Villa-Lobos and the world premiere of Três Prelúdios Vitrais by Antonio Ribeiro. The concert is supported by the Brazilian Embassy and the Hans-Kauffmann-Stiftung, and the parish asks for a donation at the exit.
