About the event
In the Großes Haus of Staatstheater Darmstadt, the Brazilian company Lia Rodrigues Companhia de Danças performs Encantado with eleven dancers as part of the Tanzfestival Rhein-Main. The choreography draws on Afro-Brazilian cosmology and works with colourful fabrics, and the music includes Guarani songs recorded during protests for their ancestral lands. The show starts at 7:30 pm, a pre-show talk with Lia Rodrigues takes place at 6:30 pm, and tickets cost 15 to 60 euros.
